Drawing Sacred Geometry: Compass-and-Straightedge Workbook

Thirteen constructions, one compass setting at a time

You need a compass that holds its radius, a straightedge, a pencil and paper. Nothing in this workbook is measured: every length comes from a length you have already drawn. Each construction is shown in numbered steps, and in every figure the lines you have already made are grey while the lines that step adds are black, with letters marking the points the instructions name.

The Padma, Bloom, Lancet, Mandorla, Oculus and Filigree constructions from the Mandala Maker, each shown growing from hub to rim, band by band, drawn by the generator itself. Every chapter ends with a practice page: the guide circles and sector lines for that design printed faintly on a full page, so you can draw your own on the same grid. Each design's code reopens it in the free tool.

What it does not do

It does not tell you what the figures mean. Where a page draws on a documented tradition it says which, and where a construction is Pardesco's own it says that. For the history and the documented meanings, the Essence of Sacred Geometry e-book is the companion volume.
